Daniel started working with the University of Sunderland’s IT Services department in October 2003 as a Modern Apprentice, before moving into the role of Systems Administrator, and then Systems Manager. Today he is running a team of staff as IT Service Development Manager. During this time Daniel has gained a First in BSc Computer Studies.

Amy’s work for the historic reinterment of Richard III was invaluable, both to the University and members of the Richard III partnership involving Leicester Cathedral, the city, and county councils. For the University, Amy was instrumental in completing the story of Richard III across print and digital platforms. In the two weeks leading up to the reinterment, she prepared a number of tweets retelling the history of the University’s discovery. This involved a mixture of images, videos, quotes and links to news items.

Lucy joined a newly formed team within Lancaster University in November 2013 to work on a groundbreaking £32m project to support cities across England establish new business growth hubs and create over 2,500 new private sector jobs. Recruited as an administrator in the Secretariat to manage the public funding for this scheme, she hit the ground running and from day one was communicating with local authorities across the country answering questions on how they could apply for funds.
